The Nelson-Denny Reading Test was created in 1993 to test the reading and comprehension skills of students in the United States in high school and college, as well as adults. The standard time for the test is 35 minutes and is used to assess and improve reading skills. It is published by Riverside Publishing in Itasca, Illinois. The test has been found to be a reliable measure of reading comprehension ability of the populations it's designed for over the decades of reading research using this test.
